The Huw Thomas Gallery first opened in the mid-1980s, selling a range of gifts and souvenirs, mostly sourced from craftspeople in our local area. Over the years, our business has grown and in 2007 we closed our store in order to focus on our website and carry a larger range of gifts. We still sell gorgeous Welsh gifts, but you’ll also find interesting items from all over the world.

Welsh Dragon Gifts

There are few Welsh symbols more famous and beloved than the Welsh dragon. If you’re looking for the perfect Welsh Dragon Gifts, then we have a large range for you to choose from. The Dragon has been on Welsh flags since the 5th century, when Welsh kings began to use it to show their authority after the Roman withdrawal from the country. Since then, the dragon has been a symbol of Wales and can be seen today on everything from the national flag, to painted on the faces of Rugby fans.

The Huw Thomas Gallery opened its first retail premises in the mid 1980’s selling a variety of hand crafted gifts, mostly sourced from local crafts people. Some years later, as the business grew, we moved to new premises and expanded our range. Still selling primarily Welsh Gifts, but also incorporating interesting and unusual items from around the World.

In 2006 www.huwthomasgallery.com was born, and in 2007 we closed the retail shop in order to concentrate on the website and online business. We sell Greeting Cards, Jewellery & Gifts, and are always looking for interesting products to add to our website, for our customers to enjoy.
